Hallo everyone my name is Rubin and I am South African born but moved to New Zealand 17 years ago. I have been drawing since I was knee high to a grasshopper:) My work is a form of linear expression; using free conception and structure plus a few other techniques in art.
Many subjects influence my work these include the human form, geometry, urban and coastal landscape, architecture, nature and music. Creation has always been an open door to a larger, more colorful world to me, where the possibilities have no limit except our imagination. The interpretation of my work is left to the subjectivity of each person who will be able to see in it an inner world of his or her own.
All my art is done with me wearing rubber gloves to prevent any damage to the work.
The paper I use is of the highest quality. Fabriano Tiziano as well as the pastels and ink.
Multiple protective layers of a specially formulated colorless and odorless medium is applied to the artwork directly after completion.
