Je suis autodidacte et peintre amateur depuis 2019.
J’ai fréquenté l’académie des beaux-arts à Liège et l'école d'arts plastiques et visuels de Mons (ou j’enseignais l’éclairage urbain).
L'architecture est également l'une de mes passions. Mon métier de concepteur lumière m'a permis de travailler sur des projets architecturaux remarquables (musés, galerie d'art, espaces publics).
J’adore travailler le contraste, entre le sombre et le clair, entre les couleurs, entre l’abstrait et le figuratif.
Je vois l’esthétique comme une "science" plus qu'un "art". Le regard humain apprécie une harmonie qui se trouve dans la complémentarité des tons et dans l’équilibre géométrique.
J'essaie de produire une identité unique. J'apprécie les concepts à double sens ou triple sens. On ne sait plus bien ce que l'œuvre exprime... C'est peut-être ceci ou peut-être cela. J'aime bien cette ambiguïté, souvent source d'humour, que je recherche.
Si mon travail livre une atmosphère, une attraction, une harmonie, une identité unique, une matière à rêveries... C'est déjà beaucoup, il me semble.
