Sasha Nestertina is een hedendaagse Russische beeldhouwer. De basis van haar praktijk is het creëren van objecten en sculpturen van een post-apocalyptisch landschap. De ruïnestillevens vormen het dystopische landschap van de toekomst, als uit de pagina's van een fantasieroman. Ze verwijst naar ruïnes als nieuwe vormen die de natuur creëert.
