Elena Raceala woont in Constanta, een stad aan de Zwarte Zeekust van Roemenië. In 2019 behaalde ze een diploma van de School voor Fotografische Kunst in het Cultureel Centrum "Teodor Th. Burada" in Constanta. Ze heeft geëxposeerd in tal van tentoonstellingen, zowel in Roemenië als in het buitenland, en heeft talloze prijzen gewonnen, waaronder een eervolle vermelding bij de Tokyo International Foto Awards 2020 en Finalist in de Roemeense fotograaf van het jaar 2018/Category: Street.
