Nikolai Taidakov is een hedendaagse Russische schilder. In Taidakovs werk kruisen de vectoren van onwrikbare morele opvattingen over kunst en haar duizendjarige filosofie voortdurend met de pogingen van de kunstenaar om zijn eigen filosofie van creatieve vrijheid op te bouwen. Als resultaat kregen de composities van Nikolai Taidakov een onverwacht vernieuwende interpretatie. Deze tempel bleek het bewegingsproces zelf, het pad waarin de kunstenaar zich bewoog.
Zijn schilderijen hebben de medeplichtigheid van de auteur, artistieke originaliteit en, als resultaat, de waardevolle eigenschap van perfecte herkenbaarheid.
