Jean-Christophe Sylvos, geboren in 1961 en woonachtig in Frankrijk, is een veelzijdige kunstenaar, gespecialiseerd in graveren, tekenen en schilderen. Hij verwierf zijn opleiding in diepdruk tijdens de workshops Parenthese (2010-14), 53 (2014-16), Sfumato (2016-17) en Contrepoint (2017-2020).
Zijn artistieke werk is beïnvloed door een groot aantal grote meesters als Dürer, Menzel, Bosch, Schiele, Klimt, Daumier, Magritte, Molitz en Hopper. In zijn werken verkent hij vooral monochrome landschappen, die een uniek perspectief bieden op de natuur en de wereld om hem heen, terwijl hij sociale en politieke satire en een vleugje dromerigheid integreert.
Jean-Christophe Sylvos is lid van de Taylor Foundation, de Salon d'Automne en de Salon des Artistes Français en neemt actief deel aan vele gerenommeerde kunstbeurzen, zoals de Salon d'Automne, de Salon des Artistes Français, de Salon du Dessin en aquarel Schilderen, en nog veel meer.
