Thierry FAURE est né en 1944 à Nevers.
Cavalier, 45 années de compétition en saut d’obstacle et Concours complet, amateur dans l’âme (qui aime), maître de manège de 1969 à 1977, il élève et travaille encore quelques chevaux.
En 1977, encouragé par l’ambiance artistique familiale, il reprend plume et pinceaux et présente sa première exposition en 1983, la peinture devenant son activité principale vers 1985.
Il expose actuellement en permanence chez lui aux IFFS dans la Galerie-atelier de la Boulaye, à la librairie galerie du Mole à Saint-Malo, à la galerie «Sable et Bruyères » à Saint Benoît sur Loire, Galerie des glaces à Nantes et travaille en permanence avec la Redmond Gallery à NAAS et Cherrylanefine art à Wicklow en Irlande, ainsi qu’avec la « gallery Rolly Michaux ltd » à Boston USA, Exposition en 2007 et en 2009. Présent chez des collectionneurs en France, GB, République d’Irlande, aux USA au Canada et Corée du sud
