Irena Aizen is een hedendaagse Russische kunstenaar met een diepgewortelde artistieke erfenis, en is de derde generatie kunstenaars in haar familie. Vanaf jonge leeftijd werd ze ondergedompeld in een creatieve omgeving, begon haar formele kunstopleiding op tienjarige leeftijd aan een kunstacademie en zette haar opleiding voort aan een hogeschool in Rusland.
Aizen werkte aanvankelijk als illustrator voor een boekuitgeverij in Rusland, maar haar artistieke reis nam een belangrijke wending toen ze naar Israël verhuisde. Daar breidde ze haar carrière uit door haar werk in verschillende galerieën te exposeren en deel te nemen aan internationale tentoonstellingen.
Haar kunstwerken zijn te zien in vooraanstaande instituten, waaronder het Museum of Russian Art in Jersey City, het Naive Art Museum of Latvia in Riga, het Tula Museum of Fine Arts in Rusland, Galerie Natalie Boldyreff in Parijs, Danielle Peleg Gallery in de VS, Tribes Fine Art Gallery, Egozi Gallery en Art & About Gallery in Tel Aviv, Israël. Daarnaast maken haar stukken deel uit van privécollecties in de VS, Canada, Australië, Duitsland, Rusland, Israël, Groot-Brittannië en China.
Aizen is geboren in Rusland en studeerde af aan het Yaroslavl Art College. Ze woont en werkt momenteel in Israël en blijft bijdragen aan de wereldwijde kunstscene.
