Wim van de Wege is een impressionistische hedendaagse Nederlandse landschapsschilder. Hij creëert schilderijen die de kijker een fascinerende en raadselachtige landschapsomgeving bieden door een verscheidenheid aan verschillende technieken en materialen te versmelten. Misschien wel het belangrijkste aspect van de creatie voor de kunstenaar is de sfeer. De kunstenaar is erin geslaagd zijn boodschap over te brengen als de toeschouwer van het werk het landschap waardeert en de sfeer voelt.
Wim van de Wege werd geboren in 1966 in Nederland, waar hij afstudeerde aan de Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. Hij exposeerde zijn werken zowel nationaal als internationaal, in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Italië, Luxemburg, België, Spanje en de Verenigde Staten. Veel van zijn werken zijn opgenomen in particuliere en openbare collecties in meer dan 40 landen.
