Séverine is autodidact en schildert al sinds haar kindertijd. Haar ouders moedigden haar aan in haar artistieke praktijk door haar geleidelijk verschillende soorten mediums aan te bieden en bevredigden zo haar nieuwsgierigheid. Zijn eerste bezoek aan het Musée d'Orsay in Parijs in 1986 was een openbaring. Met euforie viel ze in de wereld van de impressionisten. Ze haastte zich om reproducties te maken van bepaalde werken van V. Van Gogh en vervolgens van P. Gauguin in olieverf. Ze onderzocht oliepastels met A. Derain, E. Degas, C. Monet en E. Manet. Toen werd ze erdoor aangetrokken vanwege de textuur.
Tegenwoordig heeft ze zich tot acryl en gemengde media gewend, waarbij ze gebruik maakt van gestructureerde elementen, verzameld tijdens reizen, op zoek naar delen en ontdekkingen van verschillende culturen. Ze mengt media, zoekt naar nieuwe effecten, nieuwe motieven, en integreert in haar schilderijen de artistieke en ambachtelijke cultuur van de wereld om ons heen. De heldere, warme kleuren zijn de openbaring van zijn levensvreugde. De verscheidenheid van zijn producties is het symbool van zijn honger naar nieuwe uitdagingen, nieuwe artistieke avonturen...
Ze exposeerde in 2017 in Parijs op de Artshopping-show, vervolgens in 2018 in Montmorency (Montmartre in Montmorency), in Eaubonne in de Mézières-galerij (tentoonstelling Cactus mania) en onlangs in Ermont tijdens de ARAMI-show (editie over het thema traan) .
