Wat is de oorsprong van de Marker techniek?

Tekening gemaakt met een grote viltstift met eigen inktbron. De inkt kan al dan niet onuitwisbaar zijn. De marker is een viltstift, min of meer onuitwisbaar. Dit artistieke instrument, gebaseerd op inkt of acryl, heeft een plek veroverd in de verstilde wereld van de hedendaagse kunst: eerst dankzij Keith Haring en zijn grillige composities, daarna via street art (of urban art), met name via vandaalkunst.
