"Hope" is a picture of an old woman, portrayed at a particular moment in her life. The lady, in fact, says she found an image of the Madonna on the ground, and being very devout she had interpreted that event as a sign of good luck. The picture therefore wants to make us reflect on the fact that even in such an extreme moment of existence[...]

Francesco Filippelli was born in Naples on 2-10-1993, and graduated in Chemistry at the University of Naples Federico II.

He studied artistic anatomy, oil painting technique and color theory in the workshop of the painter Francesca Strino.

His works appear in several contemporary art magazines (i.e. The Elite, Art Effect) and in the ‘Italian’ and ‘Maestri’ catalogs, edited by Prof. V.Sgarbi.
