This painting is very special. It represents hope for me.
I want to believe that this dog is about to find its home and love.
It makes me feel sad of the story this puppy might have but also happy for it because it’s finally going to forget about the fear and develop trust once again.
Every time I look at this artwork it touches my soul. It was quite a challenge for me. This is the first dog I ever painted! And I’m so happy with the result.

I used acrylic paste with sand for the doors texture to show the depth and make the painting look more realistic.

The painting is shipped stretched on a canvas as it can’t be rolled due to the texture.

The hanging hook will be mounted before shipping!

No words can explain the joy I feel in the process of painting. For me to be able to see the result of my work and be happy with it is pure happiness!
I'm painting animals, horses mostly because I feel this indescribable craving for it. Horses mean something very important to me, this subject connects me with one lifechanging event that happened a while ago and also something else that I myself might not know yet.
All in all I'm just trying to be closer to nature by painting it :)
When painting an animal I try to show its character firstly, express the power and wildness of nature, pure energy but also the soul.
I work in oils mostly, a little in graphics, and not very often in acrylic.

I have few exhibitions and some awards in my portfolio and I don't intend to stop!:)
