I have known Arūnas for more than 20 years, and in our youth, we were in a mutual circle of spiritual seekers. After I left for England, we didn't see each other for a long time, and only after Kovid we met for my first solo show after a long break. Then I looked at the features of a familiar face and thought it would be good to draw it someday. Well, this summer I had the courage to ask Arūnas to pose - and he said yes!
We were listening to music, talking about light philosophical topics during the breaks - it was such a productive and interesting time. I am glad that I was able to convey the facial features of this thoughtful and creative person. Some will say that it looks too serious and even rustic, but this is what happens when a person delves into his inner depths and does not play in front of others.

The drawing was sketched from real person in my studio.
This is a one-of-a-kind drawing made by me in tempera and colored pencils on 340 gsm. cardboard. The drawing was fixed with professional spray varnish for gouache drawings for preservation. The image is signed by hand on the front side. Not framed.
