“Focus of Attention” is a powerful visual exploration of the interaction between the outer and inner worlds of the human being. The artist invites the viewer to reflect on how we perceive others and ourselves, fixing attention on faces and masks that seem clear to us, but in fact hide entire universes. The painting conveys a moment of concentration, when one turns inward to deep questions in order to push the boundaries of habitual perception.
When we communicate with a person, we focus on his face, evaluate him. Sometimes we evaluate ourselves as if through the eyes of this person. We do it all automatically, it's the easiest way. But when big goals appear, it is not the most favorable position to go with the flow. You have to make an effort of will. You need to know exactly what your goal is in order to ask the question - why am I doing this? Sometimes looking inside a person is like discovering the cosmos, the unknown and mysterious. Because behind that face is not at all what we think it is. Everything is not what it looks like.

The central element of the composition is a light bulb - a symbol of insight, search for meaning and purposeful energy. It is framed by thin ornamental lines reminiscent of mechanisms and networks, reflecting the complexity of the human mind and the interconnection of ideas. And the face of the main character is blurred to take away from the focus on appearance. The expressive contrast between detail and minimalism heightens the tension between the visible and the hidden, reminding us that there is always something deeper behind the surface.

This work addresses the universal theme of the inner search and overcoming the automaticity of perception. It emphasizes that in order to reach true goals and meanings, one must not only see the face, but also penetrate beyond it, like an explorer of uncharted galaxies.

I started drawing since childhood, it was a tool of escape from the hard reality. She studied at the Novosibirsk College of Culture and Arts. For 10 years she lived in St. Petersburg, where she worked as an artist in computer games, creating fantastic worlds, understandable to the mass culture.in popular culture. I acquired a firmness of hand in graphic techniques. Started to feel like an NPC character in a game called life.called life.Moving to Novosibirsk in 2015 due to the dissolution of my marriage made me think how can I throw away my identity for lack of necessityand live happily ever after? And also in this period there are experiments with different materials and mediums. For example, scenography as creatinga particular living experience for the individual.Since 2021 I have participated in four charity auctions. Charity as a tool to approachthe traumatized individual confined in a broken shell. In 2023 opens her first solo exhibition in Novosibirsk. Participates in group exhibitions and competitions in Russiaand abroad. Her works are kept in private collections in Russia, Austria and India.Since 2024 she is a member of the International Eurasian Union of Artists.Since May 2024 the artist lives and works in St. Petersburg. Moving to a big city, new responsibility, gives her theenergy to form themes of research. Feeling the boundaries of her body, her home, her city, her country. Here comes the urge to comprehend and create abstract works.

I am an interdisciplinary artist. My main mediums are painting and drawing. I create figurative paintings with elements of abstraction, as well asas well as abstract works.Exploring the insularity of the individual. Wanting to seep through this thin but insurmountable boundary of the division of the two worlds, I use thea non-verbal message - intuitive body movements that the other person reads instinctively, unconsciously. To transmit the bodily message I take as a basis the Japanese Butoh dance, where the personality manifests the sensations of the essence of his body in thein movement. One of the steps in creating my art is videotaping these movements and transferring the still images onto canvases.Abstraction is an even deeper dive. They are the inner world of the inner world. You can compare them to the subconscious mind, where there are no words oror images. Even the names are combinations of letters with no concrete images behind them.Abstract paintings have layers, from 3 to 8 paintings created and painted on top. This layering doesn't go away.even though we can no longer see the layers underneath, they leave textural imprints. Just like the human subconscious mind, which is made up of life'sexperience, all the information from the outside world, but not contained by the mind.
