The Bear who chose the Girl (2025) Arte digitale da Nadzeya Dzemianchuk

Nadezhda Demyanchuk is an artist inspired by nature and its living energy. She was born in the provincial town of Stolin, which is located in the most picturesque place of Belarus - Polesie. 

She graduated from Baranovichi State Higher Pedagogical College with a speciality ‘Arts and crafts Education’, where she got the qualification of the head of the group of decorative-applied activity and artistic creativity. 

After graduating from college she worked as an artist in the culture department in Stolin for some time.  Before fully devoting herself to art, Nadezhda worked in the construction business, she created several construction shops, where in addition to sales, interior design services are provided. This helped the artist to understand the meaning of art in creating atmosphere and style.

Artist Statement:

"I create paintings that combine tradition and modern techniques, working with oil and acrylic colours, tarnish, mosaic and texture paste.

 My inspiration comes not only from nature, but also from the digital world - video, photographs and the work of other artists. In my works I strive to reveal not just an image, but its character, mood, inner essence: grace, wisdom, strength of emotions

.My main topic of art is to realise the fragility of the balance between man and the world around him. Art becomes a way not only to convey the beauty of the disappearing world, but also to promote a sense of belonging, responsibility and a desire to preserve it."
