Moushegh is a Lebanese-Armenian artist, born in Beirut in 1992. His work focuses on canvas paintings using acrylic and oil paint. He has created many murals of various sizes as commissions as well as volunteer work and participated in several local and international collective exhibitions. Moushegh holds a BA in Fine Arts from LU IBA2 and is currently enrolled in his 2nd year of masters in Fine Arts. Moushegh’s current works examine various artistic expressions of individuality within societies by bonding elements of eastern and western visual art. He focuses on the symbolic language of Tibetan esoteric Buddhist thangkas, Christian Iconography, as well as modern and contemporary Symbolist painters, as a means of expressing the sacred and the ineffable, to establish a specialized codification for his artistic process.
