This rare and elusive creature, known as the "Manimal" by the local population in New Zealand, has fascinated and mystified many. Rumours have it that this wondrous being has the ability to imitate and act as a variety of other animals - be it a snake, zebra, pig, fish or owl. No one has yet managed to capture a proper image or footage of this extremely fast and shy creature.
What does the Manimal feed on, and how long has it managed to remain hidden from human eyes? Is this just a local folklore myth, or do undiscovered animal species truly exist in the wild nature of New Zealand?
