Miriam-Feyga Bunimovich is a multidisciplinary visual artist working across photography, mixed media, and digital art. Her work is deeply rooted in nature, cultural memory, and personal experience, exploring themes of femininity, motherhood, Jewish tradition, and the sacred in everyday life. Drawing on a wide spectrum of influences—including ancient Roman mural painting, High Renaissance art, Ukrainian folk art, Jewish traditional art, modernism, art deco, abstractionism, and postmodernism—she blends classical and contemporary visual languages into emotionally resonant compositions.
Her visual language includes landscapes, floral and animal motifs, symbolic collages, abstract forms, and stylized portraits, often inspired by both iconic imagery and intimate daily moments.
Exposed to photography and handmade crafts from an early age, both in her family and through school art programs, Miriam-Feyga developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling and creative expression. This early background eventually merged with academic studies in cultural and literary fields, shaping her multidisciplinary approach and fueling her exploration of diverse visual languages. Over the years, she expanded her artistic practice to include photography, design, and handcrafted jewelry—combining tactile processes with digital tools.
Her recent work explores reimagining classical female icons and fusing them with personal landscapes, textures, and memories.
