I loved to hear my grandmother talk about everything in the world. After all, each of her stories was filled with senile, creaky wisdom and riddle with an admixture of mythology. For example, about wisteria, my grandmother said that a bush planted under the windows and in front of the house protects the home from the penetration of negative energy (emanating from both otherworldly entities and human evil thoughts), maintaining the harmony of the aura of the residents. Yulia Zhdanovich, een hedendaagse Wit-Russische kunstenaar, begon haar artistieke reis met een passie voor tekenen die zich al in de tweede klas van haar middelbare school manifesteerde. Haar talent werd verder gevoed door haar grootvader, die schetsen van mensen en natuurlijke landschappen achterliet, gevuld met inkt en potlood.

Yulia bleef haar vaardigheden cultiveren en streefde naar leermogelijkheden via webinars, online cursussen en masterclasses aangeboden door verschillende artiesten. Naast haar studie verkende ze nieuwe wegen voor expressie en inkomen, en vond uiteindelijk succes met het schilderen van portretten in de stijl van pop-art in opdracht.

Tijdens haar werk aan pop-artportretten begon Yulia te experimenteren met het mengen van kleuren voor de achtergrond, waarbij ze zich verdiepte in de fijne kneepjes van de kleurentheorie en tinten. Beginnend met kleurenparen, ging ze geleidelijk verder met het verkennen van de magie van het driekleurenpalet, waardoor ze haar artistieke repertoire uitbreidde en haar vakmanschap aanscherpte.
