Michel Roux was born in Paris in 1939. He graduated from the "Ecole Nationale Superieure dew Arts Decoratifs de Paris". He took part in several group exhibitions in Paris while working with advertising agencies as a conceptual artist.

1966 He gathers his brushes, leaves Paris and decides to settle in Greece.
1969 His first exhibition in Athens at the LUCIFER gallery.
1970 Exhibition at his studio up on the Lycabetus Hill.
1971 Exhibition at his studio.
1972 Exhibition at his studio.
1973 Exhibition at the FRENCH INSTITUTE in Thessaloniki.
1975 Exhibition of a collection of silk screened drawings at the STROPHI gallery.
1977 Exhibition at the NEW FORMS gallery (NEES MORPHES).
1981 Exhibition of reliefs at the CONTEMPORARY ART gallery (SYNCHRONI CHARACTIKI).
1984 Exhbition at the ANTINOR gallery.
1988 Takes part at the exhibition of the THEODOROS VENETSANOU collections at the CULTURAL CENTRE of the ATHENS CITY HALL.
1990 Exhibition at the ANTINOR gallery.
1993 Exhibition at his studio in Mets.
1995 Exhibition at his studio.
1996 Exhibition of "TROMPE L' OEIL' at the hotel GRANDE BRETAGNE.
1997 Exhibition at his studio.
1997 Group exhibition at G. Nasioutzik BYZANTINE ESTATE.
1999 Group exhibition "20 French Artists in Greece" at the MELINA MERCOURI Cultural Centre.
2000 Group exhibition at the KORYDALOS Cultural Centre.
2002 Exhibition-Happening on board the cruise ship HERMES.
From 1969 to this day he has produced more than 50 wall decorations (Decorative panels, reliefs in marble dust, Trompe l'oeil) for villas, mansions, offices and building entrances.
He was commissioned to illustrate articles in magasins such as the READERS DIGEST, PLAYBOY, ELLE, plus a large number of logotypes and other graphic designs.
He also won 2 awards, the first and the second, at a poster contest for AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL.
