Mbongeni is a contemporary South African artist whose vibrant work have achieved widespread recognition and appreciation. In the realm of art, Mbongeni is best known for his distinctive style characterized by the meticulous layering of colors. His inspiration is derived from his love of music. He considers his artworks as pieces of music because of the way he pours out his feelings on a canvas. His work transcend boundaries and languages and has reached parts of the world like France, Germany, US, UK, Australia and so on.
He has a background in illustration and Graphic art. Mbongeni has achieved his goal of becoming a recognized fine artist by intergrating his knowledge of illustration and design fundamentals with poetic expression of life that we call fine arts.
