For a long time, I have stumbled upon “complicated” explanations to describe my artisticprocess until I finally concluded that what I was feeling was simply a strong connection withthe environment around me.The sound of a train ripping the silence of night, a serene building in a mysterious space oreven the density of night begins by creating a kind of emotional rift that I then try to rekindleon a canvas or on paper.The pictorial and dreamlike shapes make the most sense to me for this kind of artistic“vision”.One way or another, these sensations take me back to a variety of different feelingsregarding the human condition that I handle without necessarily creating a physicalrepresentation of the humankind but rather by layered echoes.The depiction of an animal’s silhouette in several of my drawings addresses a primitivepresence in front of the study of humankind: as if they had remained much more lucid thanus in the face of time and of what is “sacred”.I therefore thrive from the day to day but also from music and a variety of poetry and evenscientific texts in order to widen my vision and awareness and to evolve towards what ismost important

J’ai longtemps cherché des explications « compliquées » à ma démarche artistique pour en arriver à la conclusion que j’éprouvais simplement des sensations fortes au contact de mon environnement immédiat .
 Le bruit d’un train qui déchire le silence de la nuit, un bâtiment posé dans un espace énigmatique ou encore la densité d’une nuit créent dans un premier temps une sorte de faille émotionnelle que je cherche ensuite à revivre sur une toile ou sur un papier. La forme picturale onirique me paraît être la plus appropriée pour ce genre de « vision » artistique.
 D’une manière ou d’une autre, ces sensations me renvoient à différents sentiments propres à la condition humaine que je traite sans forcement faire apparaitre l’humain par sa présence physique mais plutôt par échos interposés.
 La présence d’une silhouette animale dans certains de mes dessins amène une présence primitive face au questionnement humain ; comme si finalement ces derniers avaient gardé une plus grande lucidité que la notre face au temps et au « sacré ».
 Je me nourris donc du quotidien mais aussi de musiques et de différents textes poétiques ou même scientifiques pour élargir ma vision des choses et les faire évoluer vers plus d’essentiel.
