Description:
The boat is empty. The whale is just below. The storm has passed, but the sky hasn’t recovered. Light slices through in broken pieces. The surface of the water is calm, but unsettled. Jonah is gone, swallowed into something larger, something sacred and terrifying.
This image is not about action. It is about absence. What we see is the pause after crisis, the space between the swallowed and the saved. Jonah has disappeared, but the world still holds its breath.
Somewhere in the deep, he prays. The boat floats on without him. The whale waits beneath. Above, the sky begins to open.
Series: I AM Dreaming
About the series:
I AM Dreaming is a visual notebook. Each image reflects on a verse from the Old Testament through symbolic, dreamlike imagery. Made without formal training or a fixed plan, the series grew from personal reflection. It remains open, unfinished and offered to others who might take it further.
Note on pricing and usage
I have set all my margins to symbolic values, for example 1 DKK for prints. This is not a commercial project. The price you see reflects only platform and production costs. The message behind these works is that I'm sharing to inspire, not to merchandise.
