Marzia Giacobbe

Painter and photographer working in Rome - Italy where she was born.
She has always been passionate about visual arts and started studying photography and art since she was very young.
During the years her photographic works of food, still life and travel have been published in numerous print and web publications, including newspapers, magazines and several covers. Furthermore she has a large Stock Photography Portfolio represented by several top Agencies.

Through painting she finally frees herself from the schemes imposes by photography (especially the commercial one) giving her the chance to express fully her creativity. In recent years she had the opportunity to devote time and energy to the creation of new works, focusing on abstract painting.            
In a continuous research of a personal style, she is looking for a genre where colours overlapping and transparencies harmoniously coexist.
She mainly paints with acrylics and inks.

It's poetry, it's music that smiles at colors, it's pure light in the dance of life.
In her work, Marzia Giacobbe creates an harmony singing to the sound of velvety, intense and joyous chords. You will be attracted by the fresh, smooth and flowing touch that appealingly match colors and creates a dreamlike atmosphere.
An autarkical point of view and an optimistic approach to life characterize her painting projects.
