Mickey's frightened expression is powerful because it brings to light the feeling of vulnerability that many people have when it comes to the internet. The combination of such a well-known icon with this context conveys the idea that no one is completely immune to digital threats, and even something considered "safe" can be involved in a risky environment. His painting can be interpreted as a metaphor for the impact that technology and anonymity can have on our perception of security and trust. He seems to provoke reflection on the extent to which we are aware of and prepared to deal with the risks of the digital age. Phrases like "stalker" and "dark web" in his painting highlight the darker aspects of this digital universe. They can refer to the anonymity that the dark web offers, allowing for everything from surveillance to cybercrime. This anonymity can be both a tool for freedom of expression and a shelter for dangerous and unethical practices.

I am Ronaldo de Almeida, and it was 1995 when I created the artistic name Marks, as a teenager. It was a time of parties, friendships and new influences, but also of difficulties. I have always drawn a lot, and I started to make my first paintings. Later, I worked as an art educator and participated in several projects with mural painting and art events. From an early age, my view of art has always been linked to experimentation and creative freedom. Today, my work moves between abstract geometry and the energy of pop art, creating a fusion between textures, vibrant colors and elements of street art. The overlapping of geometric shapes in the backgrounds of my works is not just an aesthetic issue, but a play on depth and movement that invites the viewer to explore different layers of meaning. The use of iconic characters from mass culture, such as Mickey, Oswald and comic book heroes, has a greater purpose than simply rescuing popular figures. They represent emotional memories, references that span generations and that directly dialogue with the collective imagination. By inserting them into unusual scenarios, I bring to light questions about our relationship with consumerism, ostentation and contemporary social dynamics.

Graduated in visual arts in 2011, from Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul. I taught drawing and painting courses at Fundação Casa, in ateliers and schools from 2012 to 2019. 

2010,I participated in plastic arts exhibitions, at Museu de Santo André, Museu Barão de Mauá. 

2010,Pinacoteca de Barueri, First Barueri Arts Forum.
