Art, no matter how it is defined, is best when it represents or invokes the natural world around us.

As an artist one must find a reason to create. It cannot be simply to sell, to make a living.
One cannot chase the trend or a certain style and find success. There must be a need
to create something that no one else has done or failure is certain. I want the viewer to look
at my work and be drawn into it. It has to be a mystery that is solved in a different way by
anyone who looks at it. That is what separates an average painting from art. It is the job of
the artist to balance space, color and form and make it appear effortlessly created with a sure
sense of truth. I can only make the promise that you will never find my work compromised
by commercialism or imitation.

You don't have to be a collector to understand good art. Just remember good art never grows old.
Make an investment. Buy an original. It is not always east but still possible to find real, investment
quality art online and not be taken in by what is just a picture that has been diluted, copied and repainted
over and over again. There is nothing original about that and it is easy to see the difference.
