7 unusual paintings by an artist from Austria

Advanced design is increasingly inclining to nature in its most diverse manifestations. Nowadays, interest in gardening and adding natural decor to the living space does not fade.

The most relevant and expensive interiors are often decorated with untreated timber, natural stone and other textures but images of plants remain credible companions that give good health and mood for many years.

The theme of nature, plants and floral motifs is interestingly unveiled in the pictures of artist Marina Geipel. The author lives and works in a small village in the Alpine Mountains. It is curious that the works are made in the collage technique – with the use of paper and glue only (no paints). In her works, the artist gives the paper a second life by choosing the necessary pieces from advertising brochures, magazines and old newspapers.

“I am concerned about the waste disposal problems existing in the world because I love nature. My goal is to draw people’s attention to the problem of environmental pollution. I find pieces of paper of the necessary color and texture, build images of nature and fill my works with life.”
