Mariana Telles da Silva Homem de Mello nasceu no Porto no dia 3 de Novembro de 1974, tendo vivido sempre em Lisboa. 

Em 1992 frequentou o curso de Desenho da Sociedade Nacional de Belas-Artes de Lisboa e, uns anos mais tarde, em 2008, frequentou um outro curso de Pintura.

Pinta e desenha desde sempre. A sua pintura foi, durante os primeiros anos, figurativa e expressionista. Em 2015 iniciou uma nova fase, abstrata, com trabalhos que, em mente, não apresentam nenhuma estética pré-concebida, criando subconscientemente a sua pintura em camadas através de gestos espontâneos e expressivos.

Sendo uma pessoa criativa, nunca teve a necessidade de se concentrar num método específico, mas numa variedade de técnicas, materiais e abordagens através da inspiração.

Os seus quadros encontram-se em coleções particulares em vários países como Espanha, Itália, Alemanha, Nova Zelândia e Estados Unidos da América.
