I am mom, I am dad. I was divided, then I became one.
I am the sperm, I am the egg. I was two, then I became one.
I am a cage, then two, then a lot. A single organism no longer notices their birth and death.
I am big and the world is small, then vice versa.
I love my parents and the dog very much, then the dog dies.
I change all the time, people appear and disappear nearby, time flies faster and faster.
Then time stops... In the end I'm always alone.
This picture was invented for the competition, the first in my life. Only she did not participate in the competition itself. In the questionnaire, you should fill in the column "About yourself". Then I was just a beginner artist without any regalia and check marks, and I thought for a long time what to write. Who am I?
Now I am a man, but before becoming a man, I also was, I existed. It just looked different, lived in the water and had a different name - the fetus. Before fertilization, I also existed, only separately: I was one of millions of spermatozoa and one of hundreds of eggs. I was part of my parents, part of other organisms. And parents were also once part of their parents... If you follow this chain, you can come to the beginning of the beginning, when everything came out of a point. We are everything.
As a result, my reflections on the question "Who am I?" took the form of a very globally-intricate-philosophical picture. A man and a woman are drawn on the canvas as a symbol of the beginning of the journey. When they met and became one, their cells also united, resulting in a common cell (the circle in the picture). A fetus was formed from this cell (in the picture it is drawn as if in the stomach). The spread legs symbolize both conception - as the beginning of life, and childbirth - as the beginning of life.
In addition, the circle also symbolizes the cycle of life, time and path: the child runs with the dog, there seems to be a lot of time, then the person goes alone, then he already goes with his husband (wife), these parts of the path are already much shorter, then he goes with his as a child, and at the end of the journey, the old man completes his very short section of the journey alone.

I was born and raised in the capital of Belarus in a family of architects and artists. Since childhood, I have been surrounded by paintings, projects, handmade things. All my life I have lived in an atmosphere of passion for all kinds of art. I graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of BNTU and tried myself in all creative directions. I had a freedom that I didn't know what to do with. I went a long and winding path to myself, many times experiencing the collapse of all my foundations: leaving the profession, moving from city to village, living in Spartan conditions, constantly searching for some meaning, long roads leading nowhere, eternal alienation. Easily becoming one's own among strangers, I forever remained a stranger among them.
And here I am, and I no longer need a sign that I'm on the right track. I found what I was looking for...
In 2020, my first painting was born, and everything was different. Thanks to painting, I found the best thing I have - the lack of self-worth. All my life I have been immersed in myself, but now I look at the world, which is undoubtedly bigger, more complex, more beautiful. I dissolve in it, weightless, and there are many of me, endlessly. I can feel this world and speak back through my paintings. I have reached the possibility of true self-expression. Now past values are not important, I am light and can fly.
Come up with interesting ideas, compose new meanings, discover unknown worlds...I like to create ground for ambiguous opinion. We live in 8 billion parallel universes because reality is the truth of every beholder.
Hello. My name is Lipovsky Vadim.
I was born in the outback of Belarus and grew up among simple and understandable things, far from art. I was very crowded in this little world and I expanded my boundaries with literature. Books filled my inner world with vivid images and experiences that I could not express. Until I came to books about art. I was inspired by the paintings of Nicholas Roerich, Salvador Dali and Gustav Klimt.
Having received a profession, he worked as an architect, designer, and was engaged in outdoor advertising. Most of the time he specialized in 3D modeling. I have always liked working with volume. The culmination was the construction of their own unique house made of adobe with furniture, lamps and other hand-made content. All this experience allowed me to enter the work of my life - the creation of paintings.
Our journey was long, but it was worth it. We have been working as interior designers for more than 10 years, so throughout the entire process of working on a painting, we take into account the fact that it should not only be interesting, creative, and complex in meaning, but also stylish and interior.
