GET OFF YOUR KIDS. And also from yourself on the subject of, "Am I a good enough parent? Is my child developed enough, active enough, diligent enough, educated enough according to society?" I've been thinking a lot lately (and I'm talking about myself, too) about how many demands we make on our children that most of us wanted and expected. Wanted to love them. However, from their early years, something goes wrong. The unconditional love they deserve is replaced by a constant assessment of the child's conformity to some conventional norms of society. And who says that their education, school grades, achievements, the prestige of their chosen university and specialty is the measure of true success? Ask yourself the statistics about how many people around the world, who have all the blessings an average person can only dream of, burn out, get depressed or kill themselfs every year. A true understanding of human happiness and success has been replaced by some marketing slogan in bright wrappers. In the end, it is more important to have a strong psyche and a healthy nervous system than a fine diploma. It is more important to retain your joy and taste in life, your spontaneity and creativity, rather than to acquire the skills of a cog convenient to the social system. GET OFF YOUR KIDS AND YOURSELF. Love them and yourself and enjoy life together.

Hello! My name is Mariam Mary-Ellen (Mariam Tselishcheva).

I am from Ufa, Russia. I paint flowers and landscapes in the technique of realism by oil, pastel, alcohol ink.

But a special place in my work is occupied my paintings in which flowers, people, statues, scraps of paper and gold foil are mixed together, and all this gives rise to a complex conceptual plot-reflection on who we are. These paintings are part of my "Who We Are" project.

I actively exhibit and sell my work around the world.

I'm a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia, as well as a resident of the international club of creative people ASM-Club.

I have no art education, I took painting lessons at a private school. I have been painting since 2016. There is wrote an article about me in a book about the artists of my native region in my homeland. And there is set the flag at the North Pole with my name and the names of other artists-winners of the "Favorite Artists of Bashkiria" award.

I really want to my paintings give their owners positive emotions and pleasure. I will paint even if no one pays me for it, because that's what I draw my resources from.
