I am one of those artists that grew up always knowing I was an artist. From the time I was just a baby I was surrounded by my mother's drawings and by the time I was 5 I wished I could draw like she did. When I turned 8 I discovered I could. Since then art has always been a constant in my life.

As a teenager I loved drawing animals and almost anything else, like the artwork on my school textbooks. I was a very quiet, and shy student who did well in school but tried to hide it. When I was 17 I developed Cancer and it changed my life profoundly. I realized I couldn't afford to live in my cozy shell anymore, life is just too short.

I went on to college and at first began to study Fine Art. It didn't last long though. Having avoided art classes most of my teenage years (as it brought too much attention unto myself) I had developed my own style and ways of doing things. I had a difficult time being told how to draw this and how to shade that. In the end I went on to finish m BA in a different subject.

In my last years of college I met my current husband, an IT Consultant from the UK. We married in the summer of 2004 and now live in London with my daughter from a previous marriage. Life is good. Recently, with the first sale of my paintings, I've been reminded of my departure from Art School.

So, I've decided to give it a second chance, or rather myself a second chance. I'm currently studying on a small course at Kensington and Chelsea College and awaiting the first publication of one of my paintings. In March of this year my, 'The Forest of Wic,' will be featured on the cover of the new edition 'Developing Java Software,' by Russel Winder and Graham Roberts.
