Pocket Star Gallery, group exhibition, Spring 2022. There was both a bricks-and-mortar exhibition in Athens, Greece, and an online one, lasting one month. The catalogue can still be downloaded from here:

This is one of the works that can be seen at the Pocket Star Gallery, with the 'Making Colours' exhibition. It was a bricks-and-mortar show to begin with, and for the July is now online here.

I now have six larger pieces on view at KAZI30, a community-run gallery at Kazinszky Utca30, part of the Ferdinand Gallery in Budapest! One of these includes 'Lunar' in my gallery here. I also have a series of A4 compositions as well as cards on view here.

I have also been participating in the so-called 'A jótékonyság jó' titled travelling exhibition with two pieces among about 70 other artists exhibiting - the object of the exhibition is to raise money for the damage caused by the Danube when it flooded in Budapest and Hungary in 2013:

One of my largest pieces at 95x137cm, this is one of the pieces I have being shown currently at KAZI30, the Ferdinand Gallery, at Kazinszky Utca 30 Budapest, Hungary. Five other larger pieces are also on show here among many other varied kinds of works, alongside an album filled with A4-size collage pieces created on paper.

I have recently had a somewhat retrospective exhibition at the Peter Manseld Gallery in Csepel, Budapest. The show opened on the 28th May, until the 26th June. 17 of my larger mixed-media pieces were on show: some of these were older pieces, others older but recently reworked, others still much more recent.

All are textural mixed-media pieces on board, using materials ranging from bandages and cotton, to wax, marbles and glass fragments from smashed car windows and polystyrene, to acrylics and enamel, washed over eith luminescent paints.

I was born in the UK but since1996 have lived and worked in Budapest, Hungary. I began my creative path at the age of 19 and to begin with was totally self-taught and it was always the aim to let images and impressions from within come more or less spontaneously. For me, the whole process has always represented a kind of 'soul work.' In the 1980's however, I did attend two fairly rigorous two-year part-time courses - the one diploma in painting at leamington College of FE and a Certificate in Craft Materials at Coventry University. These introduced me to several new techniques and a deeper understanding of art history.

I work mainly with mixed-media pieces, using an array of material ranging from glass fragments, fabric pieces and wax. I am fascinated by materials that reflect and use a myriad of gold hues, silvers and iridescent paints against matt backgrounds. Mainly having used board surfaces in the past, I now work more often on Canvas.

I also create mixed-media paper collages, again, usually in A4 size. In these, I tend to employ a bastardised marbling technique for the background and then work into each composition using ink pen, gel pens, metal flakes and fragments of other paper, or materials with either holographic or luminescent surfaces.

Another skill which I have developed a great deal in the past, is in Life Drawing,band I have taken part in group exhibitions in recent years, showing these works. 

I currently have several if my works represented at the virtual Mi Do gallery, based in Szentendre, Hungary.

Whilst in Coventry England in the late 80's early 90s, I exhibited regularly with an assorted group of artists called the 'Dream Illustrators' based near the city centre, as well as putting on solo exhibitions. I also lived in Brighton from 1994-1996 and exhibited with a gallery called the Bear Cave.
