This black and white photographic work, characterized by a marked visual dichotomy, explores the ancestral dialogue between the human being and nature. The female figure, curved and suspended in an impenetrable black space, suggests a primordial urgency to reconnect with that nature from which we are separated; at the same time, she finds herself in a paradoxical condition: she is simultaneously a prisoner and a dancer. The composition reveals a deep existential tension: the human being confined by his own cultural construction, separated from the natural vitality that continues to pulsate beyond the artificial boundary. The ripe persimmons on the bare branches testify to a fertility that persists even in the season of apparent death, a life cycle that continues indifferent to our alienation. "Let me in" is the stifled cry of the woman-mother, an ontological fracture that overturns the usual perspective: it is not nature that asks for access to our spaces, but the human who begs to be readmitted into the life cycle from which he has excluded himself. Photography thus becomes a visual meditation on our self-imposed exile, on our condition as beings who have forgotten their belonging to the natural world. And yet, in that curvature of the body, in that reaching outward, a possibility of reconciliation manifests itself, a desire to overcome the threshold that separates culture and nature, artifice and authenticity.
