Credo che il sogno di ognuno di noi sia quello di trasformare la nostra casa o il luogo di lavoro in un posto non solo e non più esclusivamente funzionale, ma contemporaneamente un posto assolutamente unico. Un posto originale che possa rispecchiare la nostra personalità e la nostra propensione alla bellezza. Avere la possibilità di realizzare un ambiente di grande personalità significa anche avere le idee chiare sull’atmosfera che si intende conferire per potersi sentire sempre appagati e soddisfatti. Credo sia giunto il momento di trasformare la vita in arte, di estetizzare l’ambiente in cui viviamo e creare spazi di vita e di lavoro che in una sintesi di bellezza e originalità rappresentino la nostra vera esigenza e ci diano nuovi punti di vista per leggere l’esistente.
Mai come in questo caso possiamo dire che l’arte non è fine a se stessa ed in questo caso è legata al benessere e al comfort di chi abita uno spazio, senza dimenticare l’approccio creativo. Thinking of an art without matter and without that "work with the hands" that has always distinguished the artist is still difficult today. Even the first photographs immediately aroused the interest and wonder of the curious who crowded the increasingly frequent demonstrations of the process. They were stunned by the fidelity of the image and how we could distinguish every single detail, others feared a abandonment of painting or a drastic reduction of its practice. This did not happen, but the birth of photography favored and influenced the birth of important pictorial movements, including Impressionism, Cubism and Dadaism. Probably it will not be called art for a long time, but the digital revolution is modifying, once again, the creation of images and their diffusion. Digital art, or rather the creation of images in which computer tools have a preponderant weight in the realization, "is a revolution started in the '60s and even if today finds its own point of maturation, it still meets great distrust from part of the great public precisely by virtue of the technological means by which it is realized. And just as it was believed that photography imprisoned the soul of him who was portrayed, today we tend to believe that a computer is enough to make a beautiful picture. In fact, even digital art deals with the themes of traditional painting: you can decide to paint an oil landscape or make a nude, or paint a portrait, as well as you can decide to address these issues with the use of cameras, or in digital key. In fact, the computer, like brushes and oils and cameras, is just a means that the artist uses to say something. Pensare a un’arte senza materia e senza quel “lavoro con le mani” che ha sempre contraddistinto l’artista è ancora oggi difficile.  Anche le prime fotografie destarono subito l'interesse e la meraviglia dei curiosi che affollarono le sempre più frequenti dimostrazioni del procedimento.  Rimasero sbalorditi dalla fedeltà dell'immagine e di come si potesse distinguere ogni minimo particolare, altri paventarono un abbandono della pittura o una drastica riduzione della sua pratica. Questo non avvenne, ma la nascita della fotografia favorì e influenzò la nascita di importanti movimenti pittorici, tra cui l’impressionismo, il cubismo e il dadaismo. Probabilmente per molto tempo ancora non si chiamerà arte, ma la rivoluzione digitale sta modificando, ancora una volta,  la creazione delle immagini e la loro diffusione. L’Arte digitale, o per meglio dire la creazione di immagini in cui gli strumenti informatici hanno un peso preponderante nella realizzazione, “è una rivoluzione partita negli anni ’60 ed anche se oggi trova una suo punto di maturazione, incontra ancora grande diffidenza da parte del grande pubblico proprio in virtù del mezzo tecnologico con cui viene realizzata. E così come si credeva che la fotografia imprigionasse l’anima di colui che era ritratto, oggi si tende a credere che basti un computer a fare un bel quadro. Di fatto anche l’arte digitale affronta i temi della pittura tradizionale: si può decidere di dipingere un paesaggio a olio o fare un nudo, o dipingere un ritratto, come pure si può decidere di affrontare questi temi con l’uso di macchine fotografiche, oppure in chiave digitale. Di fatto, il computer, al pari dei pennelli e oli e delle macchine fotografiche, è solo un mezzo che l’artista utilizza per dire qualcosa. Se non si ha niente da dire, il computer, la fotocamera od il pennello restano strumenti inermi. A dettare i continui cambiamenti non sono più tavole e tele o pigmenti e leganti, oppure fotocamere con lenti di precisione, doppia esposizione, tecniche di fotomontaggio e rullini con emulsioni al nitrato d’argento, bromuro di cadmio e sovrapposizioni di gelatine per ottenere diversi colori, ma l’incessante proliferazione di nuovi hardware e software. Ovviamente questi nuovi processi di immagine impongono un nuovo modello di mercato non più basato sulla unicità e non riproducibilità dell’opera, bensì sula sua dematerializzazione e rilascio sotto forma di algoritmo (concetto) che permette, da un lato, un consumo immersivo, personalizzato e dall’altro un consumo interattivo, collettivo, condiviso e gratuito laddove la stessa opera può essere scaricata attraverso il web. Ed è proprio perché non siano mai semplici riproduzioni di immagini ma concettualmente opere uniche, che queste diventano quadri unici derivati da un file principale creato dall’artista e poi gelosamente archiviato.
