Awarded a prize for excellent work, MISTY MOONLIGHT FILLING A SECLUDED VALLEY, in the 6th Exhibition of National Art in Beijing. (The Chinese National Art Exhibition, which is held every five years and sponsored by Chinese Culture Ministry and Chinese Artist's Association, is the largest, the most authoritative and academic art exhibition of China,1984)
Awarded a prize for excellent work, SPRING DAWN IN XISHUANGBANNA, in the Zhonghua Cup Competition, Sponsored by the Chinese Artists Association, Purchased for the Collection of the People's Broadcasting Station in Beijing, 1988.
Awarded the prize of the Golden Fork, CLEAR SPRING FLOWING OVER A ROCK, in the First Exhibition of the Modern Elaborate Style Painting Association in Beijing. Sponsored by the Chinese Artists Association, The Institute of Chinese Painting, and the Modern Elaborate Style Paining Association, 1988.
