Through the new "the Rhythm series", Lim’s works can be roughly divided into several series ,one is "Eastern Quartet" ,it manly emphasizes music performance with specific theme and lively movement ,the Quartet are painted in modulations of colours and the frantic exuberance of dynamic brushstrokes ,revealing extremely well sense of integrity as well we the artist’s delicate mind and self-confidence. another series are Thai and Malay traditional dances series, Lim’s has his own unique interpretation of dances, his brushpaint more freely in motion and there is a definite sense of self assurance ,joy and passion, especially is the accuracy and maturity in the employment of colours , Lim does not paint until he has obtained an appropriate inspiration, Thus every work strictly structured without being pretentious.


Lim painting has a unique personality and a high level of superior technique, he is valiant enough to experiment with the difference, he is an artist who struggles to create away from the limelight.
