Wabi-Vases
A minimalist collection of handmade vases defined by simplicity, harmony and balance between textures, shapes and color. The vases are handmade and have no repeats. Each vase in this series is unique and numbered.
My vases are based on a used glass bottle, which refers to the issues of reuse, humanity's relationship with nature, and the role of human in the ecosystem.
It proves that it is not only possible to give second life to ordinary things, but through the idea and work of an artisan you can turn them into a work of art.
The vases are made of clay and plaster without the aid of a potter's wheel, inspired by the aesthetics of the wabi-sabi concept. According to this concept, greatness lives in small details and beauty can be part of imperfection.
Wabi-sabi reminds us of the illusory nature of permanence and perfection, the ephemerality of problems and worries.
Nothing is eternal, perfect, or finished.

This series was born in reflection on the excessive vanity of the outside world. Where people are constantly in a state of perpetual hustle and bustle. However, because of this rhythm of life, they are simply unable to focus on really important things. The modern man receives huge layers of information every day. And very different: from low-quality to important exclusive knowledge. But the problem is that there is no time to master it. We throw in and throw in new layers of thoughts, other people's ideas, conclusions, other people's experiences, and we completely forget where are we? Where am I? What is my goal? What am I consuming information for?
The skill of slowing down, of grounding, is as necessary as the skill of eating right. We can't live our lives well if we don't know how to flip that tumbler and feel when the moment is right.
With this collection in beige, earthy and coffee tones I wanted to express that moment of slowing down, coming back to myself (I do use natural ground coffee when creating these paintings). It is a ray of light turning to the inside of each of us. Illuminating that deep, unique world of feelings and thoughts. There is so much of you in this world, so much of your soul and happiness. There is a reason to stop and reflect on the question: What really matters to me right now?

This series is inspired by a deep sense of finding and feeling my home on earth when I moved from my homeland to another country. What is Fundamentalness? Is it based on the reality around you or is it born within you? What do we look for when we want peace of mind? All these questions I answer in this collection. Monumentality, the tranquility of the mountains, the piney freshness, exuberance, stability and balance.

Biografía
Lesia Danilina es una artista contemporánea radicada en Turquía. A escala mundial, el tema central de su arte gira en torno a la curación y la salud mental. A través de su expresión artística, ahonda en el estado psicológico de los individuos contemporáneos en medio de un telón de fondo de transformaciones mundiales y experiencias traumáticas. Su obra de arte tiene como objetivo investigar las fuentes subyacentes de angustia a través de su serie Essentialism, al tiempo que ofrece destellos de tranquilidad y serenidad a través de su serie Moments and Beige Feelings.
Para transmitir este tema, emplea técnicas acrílicas y de remojo sobre lienzo predominantemente sin recubrimiento. Inicialmente, su arsenal artístico consistía únicamente en manchas y colores. Posteriormente, aprovechó el poder de la composición, un profundo conocimiento de la psicología del color y las propiedades físicas de los materiales. Esto implicó utilizar varios medios para acrílicos, vertidos de agua, pastas de textura e incluso café molido, lo que le permitió crear obras de arte visualmente cautivadoras y que invitan a la reflexión.
Ella elabora meticulosamente sus abstracciones, considerando cuidadosamente cada elección de tinte y color. Estructurar una pieza en arte abstracto implica orquestar el caos, pero mantiene un diálogo constante con sus materiales, lo que les permite guiar su proceso y lograr un equilibrio armonioso.

Одна из самых важных вещей, которые я усвоила на своем пути художника, заключается в том, что творчество - это не то, к чему можно принудить. Оно приходит естественно и органично, и только от нас зависит, как мы его взрастим и позволим ему расцвести. Будь то наброски, живопись или скульптура - существует множество способов начать творить.
Когда я работаю над новым произведением, я часто начинаю с набросков своих идей и мозгового штурма различных концепций. Затем я перехожу к созданию грубой модели или прототипа скульптуры. Это позволяет мне экспериментировать с различными материалами и техниками, пока я не найду идеальный вариант для своего видения.
Одна из моих любимых частей работы художника - видеть, как мои творения оживают. Каждая скульптура, которую я создаю, является уникальным выражением моих мыслей и эмоций, и это действительно радость - делиться ими с другими. Будь то маленькая ваза или холст размером больше жизни, каждое произведение имеет свою собственную историю.
Как художник, я считаю, что важно всегда быть открытым для новых идей и перспектив. Я постоянно ищу вдохновение в окружающем меня мире, будь то природа, архитектура или другие виды искусства. Оставаясь любознательным и вовлеченным в мир, я могу продолжать расти и развиваться как художник.
Мои творения- это не просто создание чего-то прекрасного; это выражение себя таким образом, который является уникальным. Это рисковать, расширять границы и следовать новой идее. The theme of her art is to explore and improve the mental state of modern man.

When creating her Wabi-Vases series, Lesia was inspired by the Japanese concept of Wabi-sabi, which speaks to the acceptance of imperfection in all things.

Using clay, Lesia creates abstract shapes in an attempt to capture beauty as part of imperfection. I was a person who looked at pictures from afar. One day, we bought a blank canvas from a shop together. The canvas was as tall as Lesia. It was empty and meaningless... But that little girl, together with the 3 primary colors and their tones, fit the sky and the ocean in the same frame. I realized that nothing is empty and meaningless with Lesia. Lesia has an incredible creative power within her tiny body. His talent and determination to work will make her a well-known artist in the future. Lesia, please don't let go of your brush...
