Lena Langer (Troyanova Elena) is a contemporary Russian artist. She was born in 1986 in the Moscow region. She works in the style of abstract symbolism in the mixed media.

Since 2021, Lena regularly takes part in Russian exhibitions and competitions. Her artworks are included in private collections in Russia, Turkey and the USA.

In 2022 she became a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia and studied at the School of Abstract Art founded byPresident of the Union of Abstractionists of Russia (SABROS).

In 2023 she joined the Union of Abstractionists of Russia (SABROS) and received a grant to study at the Academy "OP-POP-ART" Anastasia Postrigai for the academic course "Art History". At the same time, she was trained within the framework of the ZIL. Start” for creating projects in the field of culture and art from idea to implementation.

In her paintings she uses various mediums: acrylic, oil, gold leaf, texture pastes, ink, markers. The mixing of materials is a characteristic feature of her art.

ARTIST STATEMENT

In my artistic practice, I study Vedic astrology, so many of my works are devoted to the theme of the influence of planets on the world around.

And even if my path is not supported by long experience and art education, the craving for experiments and knowledge in the artistic field has become an integral part of my practice. Therefore, I, among other things, am in a continuous search, attention and study of new materials when creating my art objects.

I see my mission in conveying conceived artistic images in an abstract manner through a contrasting and rich color palette, depending on the emotions I experience.
