La représentation humaine, les portraits sont mes thèmes majeurs. Je travaille actuellement sur les terrasses de cafés, les scènes qui s'y déroulent me semblent "inépuisables".
La terrasse, c’est un lieu de repos, lieu de "laisser-aller", lieu d’échange où l’on peut discuter face à face, côte à côte, lieu de pause ou de pose avant de poursuivre la visite. Mais aussi lieu sanglant malheureusement.

Et si j’étais là, parmi ces gens, avec eux, à la place de l’un d’eux ?

I have been painting and drawing for about fifteen years and recently painting has become one of my main activities.
Human representation, portraits are my major themes.
Fascinated by the similarity, a little also by the difficulty induced, I realize portraits of the members of my family, of people met.

I have only been exhibiting for two years and I am doing a series of café terraces, for the life that women and men bring to our towns or village squares. Would we imagine these beautiful places without human presence?

For these street scenes, the attitudes of these "people" attract my attention.
Their faces move away from the portrait, their activity at this moment speaks to me. Some traits may be enough to evoke presences.

The terrace is a place of rest, a place of carelessness, place of exchange where one can discuss face to face, side by side, place of pause and pose, before continuing the visit.
But unfortunately also bloody place.
And if I were there, among these people, with them, instead of one of them, if we settled there?
