This is my favorite way of painting - to color the emotions of a character. Sometimes you can see them showing trough time, defining a personality. It's like a map of one's past and recent feelings compressed into one moment.

This artwork was selected to be the face of my vernissage and exhibition in Paris, where all the "colorful emotions" collection was presented.

Original handmade painting on a gallery wrapped cotton canvas done with palette knife. High quality natural pigment oil paints are used. Edges are painted, does not require framing - the artwork is ready to hang. Varnished to preserve color and protect from UV-light, dust, and moisture.

The artwork is signed on the front and signed certificate of authenticity is provided.

Svetlana Tikhonova, alias Lana Frey, is een hedendaagse Tsjechische schilderes. Ze verkent de brede mix van gevoelens die we ervaren en transformeert ze in interessant portret- en landschapswerk, geïnspireerd door geschiedenis, mythologie en legendes, maar vooral gericht op menselijke emoties.

Lana Frey werd geboren in 1974 in Tsjechië. Ze heeft deelgenomen aan tentoonstellingen in Japan, Polen, Italië, Frankrijk, het VK en de VS.
