"A Nook For New Zealand's Feathered Friends", this 20" x 16" or 50.8cm x 40.64cm, original watercolor and ink painting features Blue Fairy Penguins, one of my favorite birds. This delightful room is filled with a lot of interesting things including a collection of oyster plates.

This painting comes with a certificate of authenticity, it has been painted with Rembrandt professional watercolor paints and archival ink on Arches, French-made 300gsm all cotton watercolor paper.

Kristen is an interdisciplinary artist working in both oil and watercolor.  Her joyful, colorful paintings are very popular with collectors!  Kristen's oil paintings feature luxurious, thick strokes of paint which give added interest to the artwork.  Subjects include garden landscapes, Giverny and European cityscapes as well as some interior scenes!

Kristen's watercolor paintings are intricate and detailed.  They depict wildlife or cherished pets in interesting interior settings.
