I am Konstantina Karagianni, a 23-year-old painter and a graduate of a drama school! Painting for me is an escape from reality.

 Every time I paint, I find the opportunity to reflect on my life, and what I create emerges from my subconscious. The result is a harmony within chaos, a balanced universe. When I am not painting, my thoughts are scattered and chaotic, but through painting, they gain coherence and become paintings. They are like dreams that didn’t have the chance to come true, shattered and melted into small pieces, which are then rebuilt on the canvas.

A dream, no matter how intangible, gains greater strength when captured in a painting. It can satisfy you even more than the initial thought. It’s like a flower offering its petals to those you love, leaving the branch behind. And if you’ve made sure not to cut the root, the flower may bloom again, keeping its beauty alive within you forever.

My painting is like a tide without winds and noise; externally, there is calm, while within me, a storm dominates, reflected on the canvas of my imagination
