Zoya Lerman (Lerman-Lutskevich) (June 14, 1934, Kyiv - January 1, 2014, Kyiv) was a prominent Ukrainian artist renowned for her captivating paintings and graphics.
Lerman was a vibrant figure in the second wave of the Kyiv avant-garde underground, alongside her husband Yuri Lutskevich and other talented artists like Ivan Marchuk, Yuli Sheynis, and Yevhen Volobuyev, creating works that amazed with their originality.
After graduating from the Kyiv Art Institute in 1959, where she studied under esteemed masters like Serhiy Hryhoriev, Volodymyr Kostetsky, and Georgiy Melikhov, Zoya Lerman began her active artistic career.
Since 1960, Zoya Lerman was a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and participated in numerous city, republican, all-union, and international exhibitions. Her works were highly acclaimed both in Ukraine and abroad, captivating art enthusiasts with their unique creativity and artistic mastery.
