HIGH HEELS Wall installation: Absolutely feminine, sexy and passionate in both the sensual and the painful way, but it's also a feminist statement, made by Anne Klein H. from sheet zinc, thick leather and hand forged nails.


The sculpture is a hymn to the endurance and power of women, but also a memory of a fairy-tale of two little red shoes that went dancing around the world.
The surrealist aspect is, of course, the hand forged nail representing the high heel...and the nail goes through the shoe, so we'll get directly to the point. The forged nails are especially made for the sculpture by a local artesan.

The installation consists of 5 pairs of high heeled shoes.
Each left shoe has a quote:

brown shoes: 'Foot prints',
white shoes: 'Blessed, she',
grey shoes: 'In shining armour'
wine red shoes: 'Nails and heels',
red shoes: 'Oh, sexy thing',

Each right shoe bears Anne's name and the year of making.
Measures of the individual shoes: life size, so normal shoe size 40 (EU)
Measure of display: you can make your own composition and adapt to the surface you choose, but estimated display room about (H) 160 cm x (W) 100 cm

Easy mounting to the wall because of the key-shaped hole in the sole: a single nail or screw will be sufficient per shoe.
