The picture "The Indifferent" belongs to a series of pictures inspired by the narrative "The Divine Comedy", which is the main work of the poet and philosopher Dante Alighieri (1265-1321). The idea for it came while looking at an edition of the work, which was illustrated by the great painter and graphic artist Gustave Doré (1832-1883). On the same [...]
The picture "The Indifferent" belongs to a series of pictures inspired by the narrative "The Divine Comedy", which is the main work of the poet and philosopher Dante Alighieri (1265-1321).
The idea for it came while looking at an edition of the work, which was illustrated by the great painter and graphic artist Gustave Doré (1832-1883).
On the same theme, he crated the magnificent painting "Dante et Virgile dans le neuvième cercle de l'Enfer" in 1861.
2D digital work, no use of AI at all!
The picture is completely created on a computer.
To convert it into the analog world it is printed on fine art paper with pigmented inks.
Each image of the edition has a consecutive numbering on the back and is signed by hand.
Due to the high production costs, the picture is produced on demand.
Fine Art Print on Hahnemühle PhotoRag Satin 310 g/m², mounted on 4mm Alu-Dibond and treated with Hahnemühle Protective Spray that protects against dirt, fingerprints and moisture.
It further increases the already existing UV stability resulting from the combination of the Hahnemühle PhotoRag Satin Paper and the Epson UltraChrome K3 ink (approx. 100 years).
There is a sturdy aluminum frame on the back to hang the picture.
Please allow 1-2 weeks from order to dispatch due to production.
