"...k...kathryn...is that...oh my god; kathryn!! that's just, it's *disturbing*! does kate's mother know about this?!" ^_^ well, hopefully your reaction will be more along the lines of looking at offhandedly, then stopping, double-taking, and kinda freaking out as you look closer.
i almost categorised this as "horror and macabre", but i think that it can be most effectively labelled as "dark humour" or "dark satire". this is one of my two most absolute favourite photographs from my black-and-white portfolio, although it was an itch-bay to develop in the darkroom. it seemed to take forever and about ten or twelve sheets of photo paper to find the right aperture, plus i had to burn a bunch of things in. but in the end, it was worth it. many thanks to my dear katook for letting me hang her from the gate. ^_^
