Neon 321c21e is an abstraction of the reflection of a neon nightclub sign on a black limousine. Because this image is offered in several variations, it is limited to 3 prints in each version

When I first noticed this image and photographed it, it was already very intriguing to me -- it seemed to just float in space, it seemed to be swimming through it -- reminding me of some sort of fish, or ray, gliding through the water, and also of a butterfly flitting in some unpredictable yet graceful path through the air. (position 1, rotated 90 degrees to the left of main artwork image - 1st additional artwork image)

But then as I started working with it, it took on some additional qualities when I happened to consider it from other angles -- at first, these impressions were bothersome, the graceful swimming or floating aspect of it was no longer there. But then I noticed some remarkable new impressions. In position 2 (main artwork image), it seemed to be involved in some acrobatic balancing act, very precarious, yet trying to soar upwards.

In position 3 (rotated 180 degrees from main artwork image - 2nd additional artwork image), it reminded me of a kite boarder, harnessing wind power to skip over the waves.

And in position 4 (rotated 90 degrees to the right from position shown in main artwork image - 3rd additional artwork image, ), it seemed to be a pterodactyl, with a huge head and beak on the right, about to peck at some prey.

I have now come to very much like all 4 positionings of this image and hope that if you own it, you too may choose to vary its position on your wall from time to time, as I do with the versions of it that I have on display.
