Kat M Hamilton is a fine artist from New York City. Being surrounded by so many different people, things and venturing to different places made her appreciate natural phenomena, from the bloom of a flower to a person having an epiphany. She made it a goal to illustrate these moments with a combination of materials, a variety of subjects, and high contrast.
Kat graduated from Hunter College with a major in Art and a minor in Classical studies. She has exhibited her work since 2002, having been part of a group show at the National Arts Club with great thanks to her teacher and renowned artist Joan Elizabeth Meyer. Kat is also a graduate of the Mastery program at Milan Art Institute under the tutelage of Dafni Milan. Her work has been shown in galleries such as Art Gotham Gallery and Ellarslie Museum.
