Original mixed media painting on canvas
One of a kind artwork

Description:
Fragments is a contemporary abstract artwork that blends symbolic geometry, natural textures, and subtle contrast. At its center shines a golden circle — a symbol of energy, movement, and balance. Surrounding it are cracked surfaces and embedded mirror fragments in diamond shapes, evoking earthly layers, time, and transformation.
The color palette is built on the harmony of green and brown tones, recalling forest soil, moss, and mineral structures. Textural complexity, along with gold leaf highlights and reflective surfaces, invites viewers into a layered visual dialogue — one that shifts with light and perspective.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint, gold leaf, mirror fragments, protective matte acrylic varnish
Stretched cotton canvas on wooden frame
Signature and certificate:
Signed on the back. Includes a certificate of authenticity.
This is a one-of-a-kind original work.
Shipping information:
Worldwide shipping with professional, secure packaging is included. The painting will be shipped ready to hang.
Interior fit & style:
Thanks to its tactile surface and reflective accents, Fragments makes an ideal statement piece for:
• Living rooms

It complements modern, boho, Japandi, Scandinavian, and minimalist interiors and will resonate with collectors who value original symbolic art, geometric composition, and a touch of surreal abstraction.

I am Karolina Yam, an abstract artist. My art is an invitation to slow down, to reconnect with the present moment, and to return to yourself. I work intuitively, using acrylic and mixed media on paper, creating vibrant series filled with light, color, and energy.
My inspiration comes from travel, nature, and those simple yet powerful sensations — the wind in the mountains, the smell of the sea, a sunbeam on the wall. Even my cat once became the protagonist of a print collection. Everything that touches the soul becomes part of my palette. I often paint while listening to mantras and meditative music to infuse each piece with stillness and joy.
Each painting is a visual meditation. Color becomes language. I use a limited palette of bright hues to evoke the feeling of "here and now," like in childhood — when the world felt new and the moment was the only one that existed.
My work doesn't tell a story — it creates an atmosphere. Its purpose is to fill a space with energy, to bring the viewer back to themselves, and to offer a moment of joy, clarity, and peace. Whether it’s in a living room, office, or gallery — each piece brings a quiet presence to the space.
I am a self-taught artist. I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil. I studied at an art school as a child, later trained with a professional artist, and attended masterclasses to develop my skills. Over the past years, I’ve created more than 50 original works, many of which now live in private collections across the world. I’m currently preparing for exhibitions and entering international platforms to share my visual poetry with collectors around the globe.
